Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Edu vow, Jorginho contract, Isak, and Sesko linked

Tierney valuation

ARSENAL have reportedly slashed Kieran Tierney’s valuation.

And the left-back has given a stark verdict on how likely he is to stay at the Emirates following his Real Sociedad loan.

The Scotland star, 27, has been linked with Newcastle and Aston Villa over the past year.

Just last August the Gunners reportedly wanted £30million for the former Celtic hero.

But the Metro say Arsenal are now willing to offload Tierney this summer for around £10m.

Gabriel reveals club he would join ‘tomorrow’

Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes has revealed the club he would join “tomorrow” if given the chance.

The Brazil centre-back is currently preparing to take part in the Copa America after being named in the squad.

Chatting to ESPN Brazil in the build-up to the tournament, the Arsenal star revealed that he still dreams of playing at his boyhood team.

He admitted: “My favourite club? Corinthians, that’s since I was born and today I don’t think it has to be any different.

“I still go to Corinthians games by train. It’s my dream, I want to play for Corinthians, I want to feel that energy.

“It’s something to think about. Sometimes I stop and think, ‘Do I dream of playing for Corinthians?’ I do.

“When would I play for Corinthians? For me, I’d be at Corinthians tomorrow.

“I hope it doesn’t take me long because I want to feel the energy of those fans, who are incredible, as soon as possible.”

Gunners in battle with Man Utd for striker

Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Joshua Zirkzee.

Italian side AC Milan are also said to have a strong interest in the striker.

Zirkzee has a £34million release clause in his contract, which has two years remaining.

Osimhen ultimatum

The Gunners are interested in Victor Osimhen.

But, they won’t be held to ransom over his transfer fee.

Currently, Benjamin Sesko’s price tag is a more realistic option for Arsenal for around £52million.

And they have told Napoli they won’t pay over £100million to sign him, according to Sky Sports.

Cazorla could return

Recently retired Santi Cazorla could return to Arsenal in a coaching capacity.

He told Sky Sports: “I have a very special affection for Arsenal. I spent six wonderful years there and I know how much all the people love me there.

“Of course, I was fortunate to share a dressing room with Mikel Arteta and now he is the manager. We had conversations about that but right now I am not focused on anything other than contributing to this club, Oviedo, and continuing to enjoy football as a player.

“After that, we will see what the future holds for me. It is clear that Arsenal is a club that has always left the door open to me to return. But right now, I have enough on my mind with the play-offs and trying to enjoy the last days of my playing career.”

Luiz update

Arsenal remain interested in signing Douglas Luiz this summer but are not currently close to a deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are not actively working on a move for the Aston Villa midfielder at present.

The Brazilian is a long-term target for Arsenal, having came close to joining the club two years ago.

Luiz could leave Villa Park ahead of next season, the report adds.
